About Post- Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB), Jharkhand Government has released Advt. No. JCECEB/01/26-08 dated 24-02-2026 for B.Ed / M.Ed / B.P.Ed Combined Entrance Competitive Examination – 2026 for admission to B.Ed / M.Ed / B.P.Ed courses in Jharkhand state institutions for academic session 2026-28. Online applications are invited from eligible candidates. 85% seats are reserved for candidates who have passed from Jharkhand state universities; remaining 15% seats are open for all. Exam will be conducted in OMR-based Offline (MCQ) mode with 100 questions of 100 marks and negative marking of 0.25 per wrong answer.  Candidate Should Read Official Notification For More Details.

Course Details Session : 2026-28
B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) As Per Institution Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Science / Social Science / Humanities / Commerce with min. 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD) OR B.E./B.Tech. with Science & Maths specialization with min. 55% (50% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD). Final year students also eligible (result required at admission time).
M.Ed (Master of Education) As Per Institution Minimum qualification: B.Ed degree. Marks criteria same as above (50% general / 45% reserved).

  1. Visit official website http://jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in and click on “B.Ed/ M.Ed/ B.P.Ed Combined Entrance Competitive Examination-2026” button on Homepage
  2. Register by filling required details; upload scanned Passport Size Photo (white background, both ears visible, non-edited), Signature and Left Thumb Impression
  3. Upload PDF of: (1) Matric/10th Marksheet & Certificate (2) Bachelor’s Degree Marksheet (3) Master’s Degree Marksheet (if applicable) (4) NCC ‘C’/NSS Certificate (if any) (5) Local/Permanent Resident Certificate (Jharkhand) (6) Caste Certificate (if applicable) (7) Disability Certificate (if applicable)
  4. Pay the exam fee through Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking via Payment Gateway. Fee is non-refundable.
