About Post- Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Ministry of Home Affairs has released Advertisement No. 524/RC/SSB/Combined Advt./CT to SI (Non-GD)/2025 for online applications to fill 83 posts of Assistant Sub Inspector (Radiographer, Pharmacist, Operation Theatre Technician, Dental Technician) and Head Constable (Laboratory Assistant, Physiotherapy Assistant) & Constable (Nursing Assistant cum Medic) in Group-C Non-Gazetted (Combatised) & Non-Ministerial cadre. Posts are temporary but likely to continue. Selected candidates are liable to serve anywhere in India or outside India and will be governed by SSB Act & Rules. ASI (Pharmacist) 02 12th Passed + Diploma (2 yrs) in Pharmacy from a Recognised Institution (Central/State Govt. Recognised) + Registered as Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948 + 1 yr experience as Pharmacist in a minimum 100 bedded Hospital/Institution Recognised by Central/State Govt.
ASI (Operation Theatre Technician) 01 12th Passed + Diploma Course (2 yrs) in Operation Theatre Technology / Technician from a Recognised Institute + 1 yr working experience as Operation Theatre Technician in a minimum 100 bedded Hospital/Institution Recognised by Central/State Govt.
ASI (Dental Technician) 01 12th Passed + Diploma (2 yrs) in Dental Hygienist from an institution Recognised by Central/State Govt. + Registered with the Dental Council of India + 1 yr working experience in Dental Unit of a Dental Hospital or minimum 100 bedded Hospital/Institution Recognised by Central/State Govt.
Head Constable (Laboratory Assistant) 30 12th Pass with Biology as a subject from a Recognised Board + Certificate Course (min. 1 yr) in Laboratory Assistant from a Recognised institution + 1 yr working experience as Lab Assistant in Laboratory Diagnostic Centre or Hospital/Institution Lab Recognised by Central/State Govt.
Head Constable (Physiotherapy Assistant) 12 12th Pass from a recognised Board + Certificate Course (min. 1 yr) in Physiotherapy from a recognised institute + 1 yr experience as Physiotherapy Assistant from a Physiotherapy Centre or minimum 100 bedded Hospital/Institute recognised by Central/State Govt.
Constable (Nursing Assistant cum Medic) 34 10th Pass from a recognised Board + First Aid Certificate Course from St. John’s Ambulance Organization or Red Cross Society of India + 1 yr experience as Nursing Assistant in a minimum 50 bedded Hospital/Institution recognised by Central/State Govt.

  2. Find and click on the relevant recruitment notification / Apply Online link.
  3. Fill in all required personal details as per your Matriculation certificate.
  4. Upload passport-size photograph (JPG, 4–12 KB, 100×120 pixels) and signature (JPG, 4–12 KB, 140×60 pixels) as per specifications.
  5. Pay the application fee (if applicable) through Net Banking / Credit Card / Debit Card / UPI.
  6. Submit the form and take a printout of the application for future reference. Note your Registration Number.

  • For ASI Posts: Physical Standard Test (PST) → Written Exam → Documentation → Final Merit
  • For HC : Physical Efficiency Test (PET) + Physical Standard Test (PST) → Written Exam → Documentation → Final Merit
