It’s not easy to build a fan base before your first movie comes out. Lakkshey Dedha is the youngest person to ever win the Mr. India title, but he is used to being praised. In recent years, he has been one of the most famous names in the fashion world. Even though his looks are his best feature, it’s clear that he makes brave decisions, to say the least. We talk about his first role, which is a grey character in a movie that is making a lot of noise.
Lakkshey was called 2022’s hottest find by Bollywood, and he started getting movie offers soon after he won Mr. India and Mr. Grand International. But Karan Razdan’s style got him off the ramp and onto the big screen. He plays a bad guy in the movie Hindutva. Why bad, we ask. “He was simply too interesting to refuse. “Because of how Karan Sir made him, I was able to show so much more than I could in a typical nice guy role,” says Lakkshey. The young actor can’t help but thank the movie’s director, Karan Razdan, for giving him a chance to play the part. This movie is a labour of love, and it has a strong social message that is very important in Bharat today. It spreads the idea of love, brotherhood, and friendship,” he said.
It can be risky for an actor to start out in a negative role, especially if he is not a member of the cast. “I think we’ve changed as a group.” People today want to find artists. Also, even big stars like Jackie Shroff had bad beginnings. Even Shah Rukh Khan, who is one of my heroes, hit it big with movies like Darr. I think I got into a great club!” Lakkshey jokes.
Hindutva also has key roles played by Aashiesh Sharrma, Sonarika Bhadoria, and Ankit Raj.
