About Post- South Central Railway (SCR) has released an official notification for the engagement of 2801 Act Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for the year 2025-26. Online applications are invited from eligible candidates residing in specified districts under SCR jurisdiction across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Madhya Pradesh. Applications are accepted from 12-03-2026 to 11-04-2026. Selection is purely merit-based on the average of 10th and ITI marks. No written test or interview will be conducted.

How To Fill Online Form

  1. Visit official SCR website: scr.indianrailways.gov.in → About Us → RRC-SCR and click on Online ACT Apprentice Application link.
  2. Register with your state /district, Aadhaar number, valid mobile number and email ID. Also complete RDAT registration on apprenticeshipindia.gov.in and note the registration number.
  3. Fill all personal details, educational /ITI qualifications and select your preferred trade and Railway Establishment /Unit options carefully.
  4. Upload recent Colour photo, specimen signature, 10th marksheet, ITI marksheet, National Trade Certificate, RDAT registration form and all other required documents in prescribed format.
  5. Pay Rs. 100/- application fee (if applicable) through online mode, submit the form and download /print the confirmation receipt for future reference.

Selection Process

  • Merit List based on average of 10th Class & ITI Exam percentage marks (equal weightage to both). No Written Test / Interview.
